For the first time in history a bridge is being named in honor of a man who spent his life building them. Spanning the Strait: Building the Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge combines an oral history of ironworker Alfred Zampa along with a photo-documentary of the first new suspension bridge to be built in America in 30 years.
